Diagnostic therapy at Medicofit clinic

At Medicofit clinic, we have developed and implemented an advanced approach to initiating treatment for musculoskeletal problems, called diagnostic therapy. This method combines the expertise of diagnostic examination with the effectiveness of modern therapeutic measures. Diagnostic therapy is conducted by a physiotherapist diagnostician, a specialist for a specific area of injury or disease, meaning that the patient gains the opportunity to work with a physiotherapist who had in-depth knowledge about their problematic area.

Diagnostic therapy includes five steps

  1. Anamnesis: a discussion of problems and review of specialist exam reports.
  2. Diagnostic examination: examination and special orthopaedic and functional tests.
  3. Therapy: pain therapy, manual therapy and biostimulation therapy.
  4. Diagnostic consultation: review and explanation of diagnostic findings.
  5. Preparation of an individualised injury treatment plan.

Duration of diagnostic therapy: 90 minutes
Goals of diagnostic therapy: Preparation of an individualised comprehensive treatment plan for the injury

Who do we recommend diagnostic therapy for?

We recommend diagnostic therapy primarily to those who are currently experiencing or have been experiencing musculoskeletal problems in the form of chronic pain, occasional intense pain, or traumatic injuries.

Based on diagnostic therapy, you will precisely understand the causes of your problems and will receive the first therapy.

Advantages of diagnostic therapy

Diagnostic therapy already includes acute treatment techniques to reduce pain and promote healing.

At Medicofit clinic, we use state-of-the-art technology, such as: SUMMUS laser, Wintecare TECAR, EMS DolorClast shock wave therapy, ESWT and RSWT, PERISO diamagnetic therapy, HiToP high-tone therapy, Sixtus cryoultrasound therapy, and MAD-UP BFR.

The therapeutic part of diagnostic therapy is completely tailored to the individual’s needs and treatment goals.

The main advantage of injury treatment at Medicofit clinic is that the patient will be seen by an expert for their area of injury and thus receive a treatment plan that provides a high chance of successful treatment.
At Medicofit clinic, we follow the latest standards of effective physiotherapy for orthopaedic injuries and joint diseases.

Each step is designed with one goal in mind – your optimal health. By integrating therapeutic measures into the diagnostic examination, we want to ensure that you receive the best possible care and targeted treatment.
